This website is dedicated to Latino writers. My goal is to read works by Latino writers, then blog my thoughts here. So, what are the rules? There are none. Writers don’t just write books, so I’ll be talking about websites, journalists, poets – whatever – in addition to books. I will be blogging about US-based Latinos, but I also want to explore works by non-US Latin American authors. As far as books go, it’s not only about new books. Think of me as your nerdy comadre giving you opinions on whatever Latino literature she’s reading at the moment. I’m an opinionated gal, so I’ll throw in my centavos in related articles here and there too.
Oh, and what about me? I’m a Texican currently living in Alabama (long story) with my husband and beautiful little girl. I like to read and have been called a nerd all my life. I cook a lot, listen to NPR all the time, and have a penchant for chocolate, coffee, or better yet, both in combination from Starbucks (grandenonfattwopumpmochalattewithwhip thank you very much).
